The Registrar is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the College under the academic Vice \u00adChancellor and in accordance with the<br \/>policy directives of the Governing Council.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;\">The Registry accomplishes its tasks through collaborations with other offices of<br \/>the college&#8217;s central administration. The Department of Academic Affairs, Human<br \/>Resources, Public Affairs, Works and Physical Development, and Information and<br \/>Communication Technology provide specific outlets for operationalizing the<br \/>specific mandates of the Office.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;\">The Registry is also supported by a team of administrators and professionals in<br \/>various capacities who operate in units: Students Affairs Unit and General<br \/>Administration. There are also various categories of administrative assistants<br \/>and other staff in key and specialized areas who perform senior administrative<br \/>roles in the academic and administrative units on behalf of the Registrar.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;\">The<br \/>Office of the Registrar is mandated to deliver accurate, prompt and courteous<br \/>and consistent services to all Bahir Dar health science college constituents<br \/>consistent with its educational mission; provide efficient leadership role in<br \/>the accurate and efficient management of data in all functional areas of<br \/>management; provide admission and examinations services to students; serve as<br \/>the official custodian of college records, interpret and apply academic<br \/>policies; initiate policies, rules and regulations for approval and adoption;<br \/>coordinate orientation programs for staff and students; and serve as a resource<br \/>person for workshops organized by the College.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; background: #FEFEFE;\">The Office of the College Registrar is responsible for all<br \/>operational matters pertaining to admission, registration, keeping academic<br \/>records, academic status determination, credits evaluations, add\/drop cases,<br \/>certification of graduates, awarding of degrees, degree verification,<br \/>Organizing graduation ceremony, preparing academic calendar of the college and<br \/>so on.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;\">The Office of the college Registrar, Bahir Dar Health Science College welcomes you<br \/>to our web site.
